How we helped the General Council of the Judiciary modernize access to judicial information

A Technology Partner at the Heart of Spanish Justice
At Lemondit, we collaborate with the General Council of the Judiciary of Spain (CGPJ) to provide technical support for one of the most critical systems in the legal domain: the PNJ (Punto Neutro Judicial) platform.
This is a cross-cutting platform used daily by thousands of judges, legal clerks, court officials, and judicial bodies across the country. Its purpose: to centralize and simplify access to the information they need to do their jobs, ensuring security, traceability, and efficiency.
Microservice-Based Infrastructure: Order in Complexity
The volume of information and number of involved institutions demands a robust and flexible architecture. That’s why PNJ is built on an ecosystem of microservices developed in Java with Spring Boot, where each service has a very specific responsibility: communicating with a designated data provider.
This modular structure ensures high performance and allows the system to scale easily to meet new demands, integrations, or usage volumes.
A Single Access Point to Multiple Information Sources
Among the most used services of PNJ is the consultation of personal or corporate data, accessing key information from institutions such as:
- Tax Agency (AEAT)
- General Directorate of Traffic (DGT)
- Social Security
- Cadastre
- National Statistics Institute (INE)
- Police
- Civil Registry (deaths)
- CORPME (Commercial Registry)
- …and many more.
This unified access streamlines processes that used to require multiple requests to different entities, allowing what once took days to be completed in seconds.

Secure Communication and Digital Judicial Management
In addition to its capacity as a data integrator, PNJ offers key services for communication and internal management of the judicial system:
- Secure sending of judicial documents and requests between institutions.
- SMS notifications to involved parties.
- Tools for the electronic processing of judicial procedures and acts.
This set of services helps advance towards a more agile justice system, less dependent on paper, and better connected across regions and administrative levels.
Seizures and Assets: Connection with the Financial System
A particularly sensitive feature is the integration with all banking entities in the country. Through PNJ, judges can:
- Consult in real time the bank assets of an investigated individual or entity.
- Issue account or asset seizure requests from a secure environment.
This technically complex and legally sensitive channel is a clear example of how technology can enable the effective enforcement of the law.
Integrations with Autonomous Communities and Competent Bodies
PNJ also extends beyond central authorities. Thanks to its open architecture, it allows autonomous communities with transferred powers and other entities to connect to the system and benefit from its services, either through partial or full integration.
This is always done based on agreements with the CGPJ, supporting a scalable model that respects the territorial and administrative differences between regions.
A Collaboration That Goes Beyond PNJ
Our relationship with the General Council of the Judiciary goes beyond the PNJ. We collaborate on other strategic projects that require expertise in microservices, Java backend development, and scalable architectures. We bring not only technical capacity but also a deep understanding of the institutional environment and its specific challenges.
Need to Integrate Systems and Unify Services to Streamline Your Operations?
Many organizations grow by accumulating disconnected tools, processes, and vendors. This creates internal friction, delays critical tasks, and hinders decision-making. At Lemondit, we help solve that problem at its core.
We develop custom software solutions that enable you to integrate disparate systems, automate processes, and deliver a unified view of your operations—without compromising security or scalability.
Whether it’s connecting with external providers, consolidating internal workflows, or building a modular platform that grows with your business, we act as a technology partner who understands your goals and builds tools aligned with them.
If you’re looking for a more efficient and sustainable way to manage your digital operations, let’s talk.
